Pastor Dave Jodry at OGBC
Conference Schedule:
Saturday, September 18th, 6:00pm: "The Art of Waiting on God - Part 1"
The purposes of God often develop slowly because His grand designs are never hurried. Waiting doesn't come natural to any of us. It's not something that we naturally want to do, nor do we like to do it. At times waiting can be downright agonizing. But waiting on God is not optional. We must obediently wait on Him for Scripture tell us that we must. In these two messages, we will examine the God upon Whom we are waiting, and what He would have us to do while we wait upon Him.
Sunday, September 19th, Worship 9:30am: "Fleeing the Center"
Since the birth of the Church nearly 2,000 years ago, the forces of evil have been fighting, what basically amounts to, a two front war against the Body of Christ. Satan has been screaming and promoting blatant anti-Christian heresy at our front door, and, at the same time, slipping subtle evil seduction away from Jesus, and His Word, through the back door. It's happening even now...especially, in times like these. Satan knows that His best strategy against Christ and His Church is to attempt to divide and conquer. and that is exactly why many churches, Christian organizations, and individual believers are finding themselves on, what Spurgeon called, the down-grade, and fleeing the God-ordained center. Believers in Jesus must stay with Him in that center!
Bible Hour 11:00am: "The Art of Waiting on God - Part 2"
